Thank you for sharing Eddie! Just as we all face the same human temptations, all who will choose God’s way face the same spiritual boot camp as he asks us to do things we cannot do on our own. I suppose it’s impossible for a proud heart to be a humble heart, and that’s where death to ourselves comes into the picture; the pathway to being alive to God. For the joy of knowing God, let us not bulk at the painful things He asks of us, but rather in faith believe that God really does exist and is a “rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”. It’s really a small price to pay for the rewards!
