Great story Robert! Definitely Robert at midnight or later! And may I add that choices do have consequences—what you do, what you think, what you eat (or drink), what you say, etc. For most of us, if we don’t feel the consequences, we don’t mind continuing our action even if it leads to a habit.
Thanks for sharing the story! I enjoyed the video format.
I think it’s sometimes easy to forget the “no respect of persons” part of this verse and only dwell on the pleasant fact that God’s love is unconditional. But God is consistent. How silly of us to accept His indiscrimination when it comes to love but reject it when it comes to consequences.
You did a great job sharing Robert! The whole elevator story definitely brought a smile to my face – well, more like a hearty laugh – but it was a great illustration!
Thank you Robert for the laugh and the compelling reminder! If only we sinful humans would remember that every decision=many consequences (reaping more than we sow)! I THANK THE LORD that: “Christ receiveth sinful men” as the hymn says. And that as He himself said: “When Jesus heard, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Robert, great story. You are the happiest person I have met. I wonder if that mountain Dew has anything to do with it.
