Have you ever asked the question, “How can I keep the vision and passion that the Lord gave me at Journey to the Heart?”

Sarah asked herself this question and came to the conclusion that God wanted her to be accountable to other young ladies in the area of studying God’s Word, and also in the area of becoming a disciple-maker. The Lord tells us to do this in Matthew 28:19-20 by instructing us to go and teach all nations the commands of Christ. It is the ideal and ultimate calling, because Christ Himself went before us and set the examples of making disciples in a world of darkness, sin, and bondage.

Forty-nine commands of Christ are set before us in the New Testament that build upon the foundation that was laid in the Old Testament. They show us how to better love and serve both God and our neighbor. These commands help us glorify God better and live the Christian life effectively.

Sarah with her sisters Hannah and Bethany, and a friend Esther who will also contribute to this blog Sarah would love for other ladies to join her in her study of these commands. She has designed a blog specifically for sharing:

  • personal insights,
  • rhemas,
  • and stories of life application.

The goal of this study is not only to grow in knowledge of the 49 commands, and to glorify God in Christ like-living, but also to become equipped to go and make disciples. It is important to dedicate our personal time and energy to not only evangelizing, but also to learning how to become disciple-makers.
