“When my parents first approached me with the idea of going on a Journey to the Heart, I came up with a string of excuses not to go because I knew that I had many wrong heart attitudes. I didn’t want to be challenged to step out of my comfort zone and change them. However, God had a different plan in mind. . .
“God miraculously arranged circumstances so I would be able to attend. From the very first day, I realized that this would be no ordinary programme. God showed me that there were many idols which I had set up in me heart and that this was what was hindering me in my walk with God. I learned practical ways to free my heart from competing affections and to seek God with my whole heart. I am looking forward to applying what I’ve learned!”

“The hour of prayer was such a great and encouraging experience. It has taught me to seek the Lord and to love him with my whole heart. I wish I could relive my Journey to the Heart experience over and over again.”

“My initial love for God had grown cold. Though I did my daily devotions and prayer each day, I would promptly forget about God for the rest of the day. I believed that I was a good Christian, but after studying eighteen heart conditions on the Journey, I realized that I wasn’t. I was blocking Christ out of my life! Now I have accepted Christ into my life again and I can’t wait to shine like a light for Him!”

“The five days spent at Journey to the Heart gave me a strong desire to seek and love the Lord with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength, and to cleanse my life before Him. Praise God!”

Praise our awesome God for the wonderful work He is doing in you girls’ lives!!! Don’t let the growth stop, the months after your journey are an intense time of Satan trying to keep you from following through on decisions, changes, etc. Be accountable to Godly friends and your parents. Brooke Martens is a fabulous girl, you were blessed to have her as your journey guide!
